Open-Meteo forecasting
Forecast values come from aggregates our backend Cloudflare cron Workers fetch periodically from Open-Meteo pursuant to Open-Meteo’s Terms and Privacy pages. Typical readers seldom contact Open-Meteo directly solely by viewing Surf pages. Servers we operate issue those API calls instead. Open-Meteo may retain IP addresses plus technical diagnostics pursuant to disclosures on their domain.
Forecast licensing may cite CC BY 4.0; site footer reinforces attribution obligations. Supporting legal language lives at /terms.
What we observe
Hosting and CDN instrumentation (currently Cloudflare) records typical HTTP metadata: timestamps; requested URLs and assets; referrer and user-agent strings when present; statuses; coarse byte volumes; coarse routing fingerprints; TLS metadata useful for caches; diagnostics helpful for quotas, anomaly detection and audits.
Browser requests to https://api.perfectwavees.com deliver forecast bundles alongside comparable HTTPS artefacts.
Emails to [email protected] may preserve message bodies attachments routing headers timestamps reasonably needed while conversations remain unresolved and afterward for bookkeeping tax regulatory evidence unless superseded deletion obligations.
Accessibility toggles reside in browser localStorage; nothing automatically syncs purely because you flip dark mode.

Retention periods
Retention depends on operational need. Automated hosting telemetry is typically overwritten on rotating schedules dictated by CDN logging policies unless longer retention serves security investigations or lawful demands. Messages you voluntarily email us may persist while threads remain unresolved and afterward for bookkeeping unless deletion is requested sooner and complies with archiving duties.
Residual backup fragments may linger encrypted even after deletion requests.
Forecast refreshes aggregated on infrastructure do not, by themselves, create personal surf profiles—but technical logs incidental to retrieval remain subject upstream Open-Meteo plus host logging described earlier.
Children’s privacy
We do not market the Site toward children younger than thirteen and ask guardians to supervise minors online. If you believe we inadvertently captured information about someone under thirteen, notify [email protected] so we may review reasonable remediation steps permitted by hosting constraints.
Limits of Our Policy
