Acceptable use policy
Effective: 27 May 2026. Last updated: 27 May 2026.
This acceptable use policy applies to the public PerfectWavees website at perfectwavees.com. It protects surfers, our suppliers, forecasting partners such as Open‑Meteo, and the wider Internet from abusive, unethical, or unlawful activity.
You are accountable for abusive or unlawful activity routed through resale channels or integrations that you operate, lease, authorise or otherwise control.
PerfectWavees may publish updates to this page. Continued use after publication constitutes reasonable notice where permitted by applicable law.
Fair use
PerfectWavees is built for surfers and shoreline communities. Automated access must remain within courteous quotas and stop when commanded (including after repeated 429 responses). Do not degrade neighbouring visitors.
Forecast systems and Open‑Meteo
Do not misuse PerfectWavees to bypass licensing, quotas, attribution, privacy requirements or commercial‑eligibility gates that apply when we call Open‑Meteo on your behalf. High‑risk or plainly commercial scraping that funnels unpaid Open‑Meteo capacity through our site is forbidden. Attribution and assumptions are summarized in our Terms of Service. Read Open‑Meteo’s terms before building downstream products.
Unethical conduct
Activities that materially harm surfers, shoreline communities or partner networks are unethical and prohibited. Illustrative examples:
Spamming surfers, forging headers, laundering malware, probing or attacking third parties via our infrastructure.
Scraping forecasts to stock competing commercial datasets when that violates Open‑Meteo or PerfectWavees licences.
Impersonating PerfectWavees, fabricating endorsement or partnership claims, phishing credentials, laundering payments or otherwise stealing trust.
Harassing individuals, minors or protected groups through our channels.
PerfectWavees will remove offending material, terminate abusive sessions, escalate to credential issuers where appropriate, cooperate with lawful requests, throttle or permanently block offending infrastructure, and cooperate with prosecutors when warranted.
Prohibited conduct
Unless you have negotiated a separate licence in writing, you must not:
Transmit, advocate or exploit material that infringes copyrights, patents, trademarks, publicity rights or other proprietary protections.
Engage with material that threatens harm, distributes illegal obscene imagery, distributes malware, compromises privacy, exploits minors, abuses consumer protections, promotes gambling unlawfully where prohibited or supports illicit arms, narcotics, terrorism activities or trafficking.
Spam, spoof mail headers, impersonate third parties without consent.
Probe, spoof, flood, degrade or circumvent security controls unless you have authorised written penetration‑testing engagements.
PerfectWavees may refuse service to offending visitors and refer illegal activity for prosecution.
Enforcement
Responses may include throttling sessions, banning networks, escalating abuse reports to credential issuers, contacting law‑enforcement, or seeking injunctive relief when permitted.
Reporting
Concerned surfers may email [email protected] with timelines, logs and offending URLs whenever safe to collect.
